Imperial Cigar started as a small mom and pop store in Durham, North Carolina over one hundred years ago by the Tipton family. The reputation of choice amongst superior quality cigars became quickly known in the region.

Eddie Tipton, with wife Edna by his side, set out to import the finest cigars available in the United States at the greatest values to their customers. The excellent range of high-end cigars has never wavered from Imperial Cigars original intentions. Today, Eddie and Edna's great-grandchildren continue on in the family tradition.
